    Role Summary

    Do you have experience of running major Marketing Programmes?

     

    Our client is looking for an experienced Marketing Operations Manager to lead their marketing and communications development programmes.

    Based in Central London, the role will be the key interface between all marketing change programmes and the firm’s Operations Board, chaired by the Chief Operating Officer.

     

    The successful candidate will have experience of running Marketing Programmes for medium sized companies and in organisations where previously they lacked structure.

     

    They will have a strong and demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders and will also have been successful in the past at implementing project management methodologies where none exist and training and coaching business users in project delivery. 

    Key Accountabilities

    Reporting directly to the Group Head of Marketing & Communications, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): 

    • Implementing governance standards for the firm’s portfolio of projects according to the appropriate project lifecycle methodology
    • Supporting project managers in project planning, including milestone and scope management
    • Developing, in conjunction with project managers, full project budgets and resource plans and providing financial information and KPIs to the Operations Board
    • Overseeing programme costs for the portfolio and ensuring that finances are well managed by project managers

     

    Mandatory Requirements

    Successful candidates mujst be able to demonstrate the following:

    • Experience level: 10 years + experience as a senior Marketing/Comms Manager with full lifecycle experience of setting up and running key programmes
    • Environment: Used to operating autonomously in large, complex, and fast paced business transformation programmes, with experience of marketing & digital change projects
    • Domain experience: Working knowledge of project/programme management methodologies and ideally an industry recognised qualification, (e.g. PRINCE2, P3O, MSP)
    • Communication: Strong formal and informal communication skills, as well as highly developed influencing skills

    Optional Requirements

    It will also be advantageous if you have experience of working for a professional services company with a partnership model.
