The key services that you'll be asked to provide are: 

• To understand strategic business objectives and drivers for the project
• Deliver detailed business analysis and requirements using predetermined methods to the agreed standard of quality and within the specified constraints of cost, risk and time in order to effectively support the change required by the business.
• Validating scope and agreeing with Lead Business Analyst all appropriate analysis activities on a project, including the detailed output documentation required
• Providing input to benefits and solution identification and determining key issues, risks and contingencies
• Accurately assessing and effectively communicating the impact of business, operational and technical change to stakeholders
• Conducting detailed business analysis using appropriate tools and techniques e.g. business process improvement and ongoing benefits analysis
• Supporting and maintaining a consistent project management methodology ensuring analysis activities conform to appropriate governance including all project documentation
• Managing requirements traceability throughout the development life cycle
• Proactively working with others to ensure successful delivery of analysis deliverables, providing regular status reports and an up-to-date view of resource utilisation and requirements

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate the following: 

• Experience of business analysis in a multi-disciplined and commercial environment within Financial Services
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills in order to influence stakeholders
• Proven delivery track record of business change / transformation with hands on experience in most of the following: creating operating models, requirements gathering, business process mapping, workflows, data sourcing, reporting and an appreciation for operational risks & controls.

• Ability to sensitively manage the completion of tasks by Stakeholders that have busy workloads and multiple competing priorities.

• Takes responsibility, has a can-do attitude, capable of self-managing and supporting multiple workstreams and/or projects concurrently.

• Able to use Visio or similar tools for multi-level process mapping.

• Attention to detail and the ability to analyse large data sets in Excel.

• A background in one or more areas of Investments, Pensions, Annuities, Asset & Liability Management and an understanding of investments / assets and the UK pensions market would be highly desirable
• IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) or BSC ISEB Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis
