Project Summary

Do you have experience of providing consulting expertise, on sales planning and business development projects? 

This consulting opportunity is to support our client (a leading telecoms and electronics company), in supporting a strategic sales planning team in providing project management and consulting expertise, while they embark on a multi-year technology transformation journey.
 
The project needs a consultant who: 
  • is well organised and able to project manage multi activities
  • has a background in consulting 
  • is a highly motivated individual with the ability to work independently and demonstrable experience of strong stakeholder engagement 

Key Areas of Work

The key activities and deliverables will be:

 

  • Work closely with business teams & functional experts to project manage the process of capturing and digitising playbooks across different route to markets.
  • Establish credibility as a trusted adviser by listening, understanding business requirements and providing options for consideration
  • Project manage different stakeholders & subject matter experts in the process of developing a sales initiatives
  • Identify, gather and assess existing playbooks and best practices.
  • Guide & support initiative owners throughout the digitalisation process
  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure correct digitalisation in the new tool.
  • Support Account Planning process promoting application, data integrity, governance, and compliance

Mandatory Skills/Experience

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate the following: 

  • Working knowledge project management in a multi-disciplined and commercial environment

  • Core business consulting skills 

  • Stakeholder management

  • Flexibility to work across different time zones on the odd occasion for meetings (mostly US)

  • Understanding of core business objectives and drivers

Optional Skills/Experience

It will also be advantageous if you:

  • have had some exposure to salesforce.com
  • knowledge of Consumer, Retail, Enterprise channel or End customer sales
  • experience in Sales operations, or partner management & enablement
