The key services that you'll be asked to provide are: 

• Leading projects/programme from initiation to implementation within agreed constraints of time, budget and quality
  
  
• Agreeing project plans including activities, resources, costs, roles, responsibilities and quality assurance and revising them as necessary
  
  
• Managing relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure business requirements are effectively captured and stakeholders are committed to programme objectives
  
  
• Managing Steering Group updates
  
  
• Shaping solutions and ensuring that business requirements are effectively captured
  Providing knowledge of different supplier solutions that could support the programme
  
  
• Being responsible for risk management, benefits and value management
  
  
• Resolving or escalating identified risks and issues
  
  
• Ensuring that impacts and changes resulting from other projects/programmes are effectively communicated to the business
  
  
• Ensuring that project teams adopt quality and compliance standards, policies and procedures, and support project assurance activities.
  
  
• Ensuring stakeholder and business buy-in

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate the following: 

• Expertise in Business Change Management in an operational environment (as opposed to an office environment)
  
  
• Ability to understand and manage programme risks dealing with uncertainty, whilst being proactive and forward-looking
  
  
• Working knowledge of programme planning processes, techniques and methodologies
  
  
• Stakeholder management, negotiation and conflict management skills and ability to identify and escalate issues
