Project Summary

Do you have experience of providing Project Delivery expertise on a Financial Transformation project? 

This consulting opportunity is to support our client in ensuring successful delivery of an accounts payable invoice system.
 
The project needs a consultant who has:
  • 8+ years of project management experience, particularly in financial transformation projects
  • A proven track record of excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects within matrixed, fast-paced corporate environments.

This opportunity is critical for ensuring the timely completion of an in-flight project with multiple dependencies.

Key Areas of Work

The key services that you'll be asked to provide are: 

  • Ensuring project delivery within agreed constraints of time, budget and quality
  • Agreeing project plans including activities, resources, costs, roles, responsibilities and quality assurance and revising them as necessary
  • Managing relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure business requirements are effectively captured and stakeholders are committed to project objectives
  • Resolving or escalating identified risks and issues
  • Ensuring that impacts and changes resulting from other projects/programmes are effectively communicated to the business

Mandatory Skills/Experience

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate the following: 

  • Working knowledge project management on Financial Transformation projects & programmes
  • Working knowledge of project planning processes, techniques and methodologies
  • Stakeholder management, negotiation and conflict management skills and ability to identify and own and resolve issues
  • Ability to understand and manage project risks dealing with uncertainty, whilst being proactive and forward-looking

Optional Skills/Experience

It will also be advantageous if you have:

  • Insurance industry experience
  • Experience of a PeopleSoft transformation
