Project Summary

B2E Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Oracle HCM Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join a HR Transformation programme at a leading Investment bank. As part of this programme, you will play a crucial role in advising on the replacement of Oracle Peoplesoft with Oracle HCM, ensuring a smooth transition and providing expert guidance to the UK business.

The project needs a consultant who has:
  • Extensive experience working with Oracle HCM, with a strong understanding of its functionality and capabilities.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading HR transformation projects, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Experience working with and providing challenge to system integrators on large-scale HR transformation projects.

Key Areas of Work

The key services that you'll be asked to provide are: 

  • Collaborate closely with the HR function and other key stakeholders, to understand their requirements and objectives.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on Oracle HCM functionality, capabilities, and best practices.
  • Work closely with the system integrator, to ensure alignment between the business' needs and the implementation of Oracle HCM.
  • Act as a liaison between the business and the SI, advocating for the business' interests and ensuring that the implementation meets their specific requirements.
  • Assist with change management efforts by providing training and support, ensuring a smooth transition to Oracle HCM.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Mandatory Skills/Experience

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate the following: 

  • Extensive experience working with Oracle HCM, with a strong understanding of its functionality and capabilities.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading HR transformation projects, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Ideally have or be working towards a recognised industry qualification, such as PRINCE 2, APMP
  • Experience of waterfall and agile programme management 

 

Optional Skills/Experience

It will also be advantageous if you:

  • Have top tier consulting experience
  • Have experience working for an Investment bank.
